BUS OF HOPE

"Bus of Hope", the first mobile ophthalmic operating room in Bolivia. The main objective is to reach the most needy rural communities in Bolivia, where there are no resources or ophthalmological centers and ocular pathologies are increasingly frequent and neglected, benefiting them with custom lenses and cataract surgeries.
"In the provinces, people for cultural reasons or because they do not have the resources to go to a medical center outside their region lose their sight, become bedridden, and their quality of life deteriorates even further. That is why we abide by the saying if the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain, and we are presenting this modern mobile operating room to perform surgeries in the same municipalities."
