SEE AGAIN
It is a social initiative of the Kantutani Foundation, developed in collaboration with the Kantutani Vision Clinic, aimed at improving the quality of life of people in economically vulnerable situations who suffer from cataracts, one of the main causes of visual impairment and preventable blindness in the world.
In many cases, those who suffer from cataracts do not have access to the necessary surgical treatment due to economic barriers, lack of access to specialized services, or lack of awareness about available care alternatives.
Faced with this reality, the “See Again” Project seeks to facilitate access to free or subsidized cataract surgeries for people with limited resources, providing comprehensive care that includes diagnosis, specialized medical evaluation, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.
The surgeries are performed at the facilities of the Kantutani Vision Clinic, an ophthalmological center equipped with specialized technology and highly trained professionals, which guarantees safe procedures and quality care for beneficiary patients.
Through this project, the Kantutani Foundation reaffirms its commitment to reducing preventable blindness in Bolivia, restoring vision, autonomy, and dignity to people who, thanks to timely intervention, can regain their independence and fully reintegrate into their daily activities.
