To contribute to the comprehensive development of human capital in Bolivia, particularly in areas and regions affected by poverty, in both rural and urban settings, through the implementation of social programs that promote the inclusion, wellbeing, and social advancement of individuals and communities in vulnerable situations.
To be the leading national social institution driving development and supporting the community, working to improve the quality of life of the Bolivian population.
Over the years, our Foundation has been recognized by both public and private institutions for its contribution and commitment to health, human development, and the creation of opportunities for those who need them most.
In Bolivia, we are one of the few organizations actively involved with the INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR THE PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS, a global organization working to eradicate avoidable vision loss in Bolivia and around the world.
For our institution, the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS set forth by the United Nations serve as a guiding framework upon which we strategically build our social work in visual health, inclusion, and human development — aligning our actions with them and contributing to 5 of the 17 proposed goals.

Our Foundation is one of the few in the country that meets the specific legal requirements for its validity and operation, under Ministerial Resolution 368/23, issued by the Ministry of the Presidency and the Vice-Ministry of Autonomies, which recognizes and authorizes its legal status as a private non-profit organization.

Authorized and registered in the United States as a private non-profit organization (NGO), our Foundation enjoys significant federal and state tax advantages, established by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3), for donors who wish to support our social work from this country.
